During winter months, there’s a chance that the roads will be gritted. The salt used in this process, mixed with wet weather, can be an extremely corrosive combination. It’s recommended that you rinse down and wash your Maeving motorbike after riding on salted roads.
Use only cool water to rinse and wash the bike as warm water worsens the effect of the salt.
Once finished, dry the motorbike thoroughly.
Finally, for the best results, apply protective sprays or wax to the metal surfaces.
