They are exactly the same bike, both with space for up to two batteries. Depending on your particular transport needs, you can order the RM1 with just one battery (to give you up to 40 miles of range) or with two batteries (to give you up to 80 miles of range).
However, when you move from one battery to two batteries, there is a slight power increase from 70 Amps to 100 Amps.
If you order the single battery version and later find you’d like the extra range, you can place an order for a second battery. Please note that the lead times for extra batteries ordered at a later stage may vary depending on demand.
