What are “ride modes” and how do they work?Updated 5 months ago

The Full Power RM1 has three modes. These help you to optimise your ride between speed and range according to your journey type. They’re also a useful way to help you to stick to the speed limit. You can easily toggle between these ride modes while driving. For an explanation on exactly how to do this, please consult the Owner’s Handbook.

Ride Mode 1 (Speed Mode) – allows you to ride at the bike’s maximum speed of 45 mph, but this will be at the expense of range

Ride Mode 2 (Balanced Mode) – limits the maximum speed to 28 mph to keep you at an optimal balance between speed and range

Ride Mode 3 (Range Mode) – limits the maximum speed to 20 mph to maximise the range of your battery/batteries

The Restricted Power RM1 has two modes, which allow you to optimise your ride between speed and range according to your journey type.

Ride Mode 1 – allows you to ride at the bike’s maximum speed of 28 mph, but this will be at the expense of range

Ride Mode 2 – limits the maximum speed to 20 mph to optimise for range
